Question 1

What makes Dectorre wall art unique?

Accepted Answer

Each panel features layered threadwork on a premium textile ground — composed like a painting, finished for the wall. Motifs draw from heritage embroidery traditions, refined with contemporary restraint.

Question 2

Are the pieces ready to hang?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our decorative wall panels arrive framed or mounted according to the product listing. Hardware guidance is included so you may install with confidence.

Question 3

Can I order a piece not shown in the shop?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Visit our Commissions page to enquire about bespoke sizes, colour palettes, and motif compositions tailored to your space. Commission deposits are confirmed by invoice in writing before production.

Question 4

Do you offer cash on delivery (COD)?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not offer cash on delivery. Place your order using the checkout form; you will receive an email invoice with your OI- order ID and payment instructions.

Question 5

How do I pay for my order?

Accepted Answer

There is no online card checkout on the website. After you place an order, we email an invoice with payment instructions. Studio preparation and dispatch begin after we confirm your invoice payment.

Question 6

When is my order confirmed?

Accepted Answer

You receive an order confirmation email with your OI- order ID when the form is submitted. Fulfilment starts after invoice payment is confirmed.

Question 7

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We ship with protective packaging designed for textured, framed embroidery. Delivery timelines typically range from 3–14 days after dispatch depending on destination. Tracking is shared by email.

Question 8

How is framed wall art packaged?

Accepted Answer

Panels are wrapped in acid-free tissue, cushioned with rigid corner protectors, and sealed in a reinforced outer carton. Fragile handling labels ensure careful transit.

Question 9

Does Dectorre ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

International delivery is available on request. Contact our studio with your location and we will provide a tailored quote and timeline. Shipping follows invoice payment — never COD.

Question 10

How do you care for embroidered wall art?

Accepted Answer

Display away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Dust gently with a soft, dry brush — never wash or apply moisture to the embroidered surface. Full steps are on the Care Guide at dectorre.com/care-guide.

Question 11

Can I place art near a window?

Accepted Answer

We recommend indirect light. Prolonged direct sun may fade thread colours over time. A north-facing wall or a spot shielded from harsh afternoon light is ideal.

Question 12

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

If your piece arrives damaged or materially differs from its listing, email us within 48 hours (2 days) of delivery with photographs and your OI- order ID. Approved refunds follow the channel used for your invoice payment. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page.

Question 13

Are slight variations in thread colour normal?

Accepted Answer

Layered embroidery carries subtle character — minor tonal shifts and texture variations reflect the nature of thread art, not defects.

Question 14

Can embroidered wall art be customized?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dectorre accepts private commissions for custom sizes, motifs, and colour palettes. Share references and room dimensions on the Commissions page; the studio proposes a composition and timeline before an invoice deposit.

Question 15

What size embroidered wall art fits above a sofa?

Accepted Answer

For a standard sofa, many interiors suit panels between 52 cm × 70 cm (21″ × 28″) and 62 cm × 86 cm (24″ × 34″) wide. Compare inch and centimetre sizes on the Wall Art Size Guide at dectorre.com/wall-art-size-guide before you choose a frame on the product page.

Question 16

How much does custom embroidered wall art cost?

Accepted Answer

Custom commissions depend on size, motif complexity, and thread palette. Dectorre quotes each project after you share dimensions and references on the Commissions page — a deposit invoice confirms your slot before production begins.

Question 17

What is embroidered wall art?

Accepted Answer

Embroidered wall art is a textile panel whose image is built with layered thread on fabric, then finished and framed to hang like a painting. Read the full guide at dectorre.com/what-is-embroidered-wall-art for how it differs from prints and how to care for it.
